The company, based in London, gathers information from students to help match them with the companies that best match their skill sets.

The company bases a person’s personality on three factors – energy, which gauges how you work; interpersonal, which gauges how you interact with others; and intelligence, which gauges how you think.

Target Theft Shows the Need for Business Cyber Security

The announcement this month that as many as 40 million Target customers may have had their credit and debit account information stolen emphasizes the need for businesses to maintain strong cyber security.

Target revealed that between Nov. 27 and Dec. 15, credit and debit card numbers, customer names, card expiration dates and three-digit security codes were all taken when the company’s database was hacked.

The newspaper reported that lower unemployment rates, an overall better economy, low loan rates and the willingness of banks to lend have also made this an attractive used car buying season.

Macy’s Reports Big Gains, Projects A Successful Holiday Season

In another sign of an improving economy, Macy’s reported on Wednesday that profits in the third quarter far exceeded analyst’s expectations.

Most experts had projected a 39-cent jump in Macy’s profits, but instead the retailer reported an increase of 47 cents per share. That’s a 31% jump from profits in the third quarter of 2012.

“We were able to achieve a very successful third quarter of 2013, despite the tepid economic climate,” said Terry J. Lundgren, chairman, president and CEO of Macy’s, according to USA Today.

About 75% of female entrepreneurs are upbeat about their businesses, and 79% said their business was not impacted by the government shutdown.

A new Cox business survey showed women business leaders are concerned about the national debt ceiling not being raise. About 56% said in the survey that another recession is likely unless Congress finds a compromise and agrees to raise the debt ceiling.

More Than 75% of Workers Experience the “Sunday Night Blues”

A new poll finds that many workers suffer from the “Sunday night blues” – that feeling of dread about returning to the workplace on Monday morning.

The Monster.com poll found that only 22% of workers did not experience feelings of anxiety and dread as their weekend ends and they prepare to return to work on Monday morning. Almost half of the people surveyed – 47% – characterized their Sunday nights as “really bad.”
